Abstract
The influence of modes of hardening and artificial ageing, application of a decorative protective coating on mechanical properties and the structure of automobile wheel disks of АК7pch alloy is studied. It is established that formation of a finely dispersed structure during low-pressure casting guarantees higher mechanical properties (rupture strength and percentage elongation) of wheels after heat treatment.
