Vestnik of Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University is a scientific peer-reviewed journal committed to publishing advanced research findings and design project outcomes by well-known scientists, manufacturers, young researchers from Russia and foreign countries engaged in the fields of metallurgy, engineering, metalworking and related industries. Publication themes cover the full range of current issues from mineral mining, iron and steel production and rolling processes to high value added products for different fields of economics. Much attention is devoted to current trends in raw materials development, energy saving, automation, economics and environmental protection, standardization and quality management, as well as personnel training for the metallurgical, engineering, and metalworking industries.

The journal was established in 2003. Over the years, authors from 30 countries have their articles published in Vestnik of Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University.

In 2007, the journal was included in the List of Leading Peer-Reviewed Scientific Journals and Publications committed to publishing the key research findings of theses by postdoctoral and PhD students.

All publications are free of charge.

Articles submitted to the journal are subject to mandatory peer-reviewing and editing. All articles are assigned with DOI names.

An article may be rejected if it fails to meet the established requirements.

All incoming articles are checked for plagiarism in the Antiplagiat.Vuz system. Articles containing 30% and over of incorrect plagiarism shall be rejected and returned to their authors.

Authors shall ensure that their work has never been published. If a part of the author’s manuscript has been published before in another paper (an article, a monograph, a thesis synopsis, etc.), including in a foreign language, the authors are to provide a reference to the previous publication, while indicating a significant difference between new and published papers and showing a relation to the findings and outcomes given in the previous publication. Paraphrasing and a word-for-word copying of the author’s own articles or their parts, amounting to 30% or more, are not acceptable.
