Professor Gavrishev manages the development of the research fields aimed at improving opening schemes and methods of building an operating zone of open pits for open and combined geotechnology; building up and recovering technology-related georesources. Research outcomes of the fields are achieved by using grants of the Russian Federation, the Russian Foundation for Basic Research, Federal Target Programs, and major commercial contracts with the Russian companies: LLC Research and Production Association ROSGEO, OJSC Chelyabinsk Coal Mining Company, PJSC MMK.
