Marina A. Polyakova (Russia)
Professor, D.Sc. (Eng.), Department of Material Processing, Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University, a recipient of the grant by the Russian Foundation for Basic Research.
Professor Polyakova provides scientific guidance to postgraduate and degree-seeking students, and four of her students have been awarded a PhD degree in engineering. Her research interests lie in the areas of quality control of high value added products for the machine building industry; research and development of continuous metal forming processes involving shear plastic deformations; standardization of steel products.
Professor Polyakova has published over 250 research papers, including 5 monographs, 4 patents of the Russian Federation for inventions, and 4 registration certificates for computer software.
