In the work with the help of mathematical modeling software environment «DEFORM» estimated effect of the main parameters of the process of drawing, such as the form of the deformation zone and the coefficient of friction on the destruction of the wire. The main indicators of destruction adopted criterion MG Cocroft–D.J. Latham «C». The results are confirmed by modeling the experimental data.
