Abstract
A model to choose the optimal ratio of physical and human capital accumulation rates for the Republic of Bashkortostan on the basis of the benchmarking process is suggested in the article. The image of the region-analogue is represented by «normative» parameters of the region under consideration resulting from the internal benchmarking (self-diagnosis).
