Abstract
This article investigates a possible use of a section rotary wire wheel brush for nanostructure formation of a metalware surface layer with further application of functional coatings by a solid wire brush. It is established that the impact friction processing technique may be used to get a hard nanostructured surface layer containing fragments of 0.13 µm or less, just as it is achieved by intensive plastic deformation.
