Manuele Dabala (Italy)

Professor and head of the Master’s degree curriculum in Metallurgy and Materials Science at the University of Padua, Italy.

Since 2009, Manuele Dabala has been an Associate Professor at the Department of Industrial Engineering of the University of Padua, Italy. The focus of Manuele’s research covers steel and light alloys surface processing techniques, metal corrosion, powder metallurgy and metal nanopowders technology.  He has authored more than 90 articles.

Professor Dabala leads the course in Ironmaking and Steelmaking Technology at the School of Engineering of the University of Padua and the course in Materials Science and Engineering Technology at the School of Science of the University of Venice. He is one of the scientific leaders of the international European project SELECTNANO, which is focused on the production of innovative multi-functional metallic nanoparticles through the application of supersonic electrochemical technology. Manuele is a member of the Powder Metallurgy Committee at the Italian Association of Metallurgy and a member of the European Society of supersonic electrochemistry.
