Abstract

Problem Statement (Relevance). The studies are aimed at understanding which features of the theory of struc-tural-parametric synthesis are applicable to the actuator drive of a drilling rig, which factors of multi-criteria control signals and compensation of combined external disturbances influence the formation of integrated hydromechanical and electro-hydraulic effects that provide correction and regulation of the static and dynamic characteristics of hydraulic motors for the rotation and feed drives of drilling tools. Objectives. The purpose of the study is to determine directions for improving the performance characteristics of a drilling rig with a hydraulic drilling tool drive through the implementation of hydrome-chanical regulators in order to increase accuracy, stability, and controllability. Methods Applied. The main disturbing, control, and regulating effects acting on the hydraulic drive of the drilling tool are considered. Originality. Current trends toward the digitalization of drilling processes, maintenance, planning, and operation recording determine the necessity of considering the hydraulic drive system of the drilling tool integrated with an on-board digital computer as the object of research. Result. New hydromechanical regulators for the adaptive drilling process control system are proposed: a pressure regulator, a power regulator, a dynamic pressure regulator, and an LS regulator. The result is achieved through the collec-tion, processing, and utilization of data on the power consumption of the drilling rig drive during transient operating modes under random loading conditions and during idling. The obtained data are used in the corresponding control task of the regulator, which adjusts pump operation by changing its capacity. Practical Relevance. The studies have made it possible to form a structural basis for hydraulic drive regulators of drilling rigs aimed at correcting static and dynamic characteris-tics and to prepare the foundation for the synthesis of regulator structures.
