Gennady S. Gun (Russia)

D.Sc.(Eng.), Professor at Nosov Magnitogorsk State Technical University, Distinguished Scientist of the Russian Federation, winner of the Russian State Prize, Honored Worker of Russian Culture, Honored Metallurgist of Russia.

Professor Gun has provided scientific guidance to more than 1,000 engineers in plastic metal working, and 25 of his students have been awarded doctoral and PhD degrees. Professor Gun specializes in quality assessment of products and technology, and he has pioneered a research area in formal logic, qualimetry, and forming process control. Professor Gun has authored over 200 academic papers, including 14 monographs, and patented 10 inventions.
